I was curious as to some of the strange or forgotten Minnesota driving laws that are on the books. Some of these I had thought had been changed, but I guess not.

Interstate 35 is a major north/south Interstate Highway that runs from Texas to Minnesota that splits into I-35E and I-35W in Burnsville and reconnects just south of Forest Lake to continue on to Duluth. I-35 is a modern marvel of transportation that passes through several major cities in the heart of the United States...

According to the St. Paul Pioneer Press, Democrat Rep. Frank Hornstein and Republican Rep. Mark Uglem are working on a bill that would ban the use of cell phones while driving, except for hands-free devices. Hornstein's theory is that more accidents are happening because of distracted driving...

Workers are scheduled to begin work Tuesday, February 7, and continue on Wednesday along bridges south of Owatonna. Crews will be clearing trees and vegetation near bridges that will be replaced beginning this spring. Motorists should be on the lookout for traffic restrictions...
