Steele County Fair Fundraiser

Steele County Fair Manager Jim Gleason was a recent guest on AM 1390's Talk of the Town. The Steele County Free Fair is teaming up with the Owatonna Hy-Vee for a Round-Up Supper Fundraiser this Saturday. Stop in from 5-8 p.m. on March 14 and enjoy a barbecue rib dinner for $10. You'll also receive party potatoes, baked beans, cole slaw and a dinner roll/corn bread. There will also be a kids meal for $4, which includes chicken strips or mac and cheese, Oreo dessert and a dinner roll. The fair board will serving up root beer floats for $1.

Proceeds will benefit the Steele County Fair Building Fund.

You can also help out March 11-14 by rounding up your bill at Hy-Vee and donating the difference to the building fund. For example, if your bill is 19.50, you can round it up to $20, with 50 cents going to the building fund.
