Southern Minnesota Turkey Gets Friendly

The peopel at the Steele Spur booth at the Steele County Fair have told me that the population of the wild turkey in Southern Minnesota is alive, well and really growing. I've noticed plenty of the creatures on my drive home. There have been a few sightings on my road. It was only during the past few weeks that I noticed a couple of them right across the road in the ditch. A few days later they were walking around the driveway mingling with the other animals. One has taken up residence at the neighbor's house, but Tom appears to like it on our place.
