Smokin in Steele Barbeque and Blues Fest May 30 and 31

The gates open to the Smokin in Steele Barbeque and Blues Fest at 11 AM for lunch on May 30th. The event at the Steele County Fairgrounds also includes live music in the beer garden Friday and Saturday. Tickets are 10 dollars for two days. There will also be free music in Fair Square Park. The festival wraps up with a pancake breakfast in the beer garden on Sunday, June 1st. Proceeds from the event benefit Special Olympics of Owatonna  .John Hammer and  Paul Schneider who are co organizers stopped by AM 1390 for our Talk of the Town to provide us with a preview.
