Owatonna Park and Recreation reminds us that sign-up is still going on for t-ball and squirt ball. The deadline is May 5 for these programs.

T-ball is for age 5 and kids in kindergarten. Squirt is for kids up to second grade. Go to the parks and recreation website for sign-up info. Registration also continues for baseball, softball and soccer with a late fee. Little League evaluations are taking place on Saturday, April 9, at the junior high gym. A new level of girls lacrosse is being added this year for players in second through fourth grade.

Save the date for Bark and Rec and the Munchkin Market on Saturday, April 23, at the Four Seasons Centre in Owatonna from 9AM to noon. A RAD zoo demonstration is a new feature at this year's event.

Lifeguard training classes will be April 19 and 25-29.

Park and recreation officials remind adult softball managers of the mandatory preseason meeting on April 25 at 6:30PM at the Knights of Columbus Hall.
