Part of my recovery is an exercise program...That  makes sense, but I sure don't have to like it....The most boring thing possible..The treadmill is the worst. You step up and stare straight ahead with bars on both sides and one in front. I feel like a Holstein waiting to be milked.  You push a button and then start walking... and walking and walking..staring straight ahead...aimlessly....You keep putting out the effort and striving, yet you get nowhere.. Does that ring a bell?  I'm the donkey chasing the carrot, but this donkey wants some type of payoff. Maybe after each session a ... good job Loren, look what you got done this session... here's a half pound of butter you churned and a pint of ice cream you cranked.... Keep up the good work. Remember, your goal is 6 pounds of butter churned and 4 gallons of ice cream cranked and then you're all done and ready to go back to driving and working!!! Alas, just a dream, instead I'll continue to wave my arms around in circles, trot aimlessly in place going nowhere and rowing a make believe boat with no chance of ever getting wet..I anxiously await better weather when I'll get some enjoyable and productive exercise in.... like pitching some manure, chopping weeds with a hoe and pounding some fence posts in...I'm counting the days.......
