Rochester John Marshall has always been a great rivalry game for Owatonna. Blooming Prairie and Faribault Bethlehem Academy have met in some big games in recent years.

The second week of the prep football season sends OHS to Rochester and BP to Faribault. Both games are on the radio, online and on the free RadioPup app.

Huskies football (0-1) will tangle with a top 10-ranked team for the second straight week. Owatonna lost 28-6 to top-rated Mankato West last Saturday. JM is ranked seventh and rolled by Austin 32-7 with a big second half in their opener. Owatonna won their 10th straight over the Rockets last season with a big fourth-quarter comeback 25-24. Friday's game is the first divisional game for each team. The Big Southeast District will award two division titles at the end of the season. Divisions are based on school enrollment.

The teams met in the section playoffs in both 2012 and 2013. The Awesome Blossoms won the section title last season.
