The Habitat for Humanity of Steele-Waseca Area will host their first Blueprint Bash on Saturday, October 1. The event runs from 5-8PM at Ritchie Brothers Auctioneers on Frontage Road between Owatonna and Northfield.

The evening includes food and 2nd Story Comedy out of St. Peter. There will also be a volunteer speaker along with a homeowner speaker to help educate the public about what Habitat for Humanity of Steele-Waseca is all about. There will be activities for the kids and also a photo booth.

There will be no admission charge. Organizers would appreciate preregistration for planning purposes. Find the form at this registration site.

Attendees will be given the offer should they choose to make a pledge or monetary gift to the Habitat chapter.

Meanwhile, work continues on the home being built at 603 Glendale Street. Framing on exterior walls is scheduled to begin this weekend. Workers are always welcome to help out. Skilled and unskilled labor is always needed. Call them at (507) 446-0112.
