The Steele County Free Fair is giving you the option to choose a Wednesday night Grandstand show at this summer's fair. Simply go the Steele County Free Fair Facebook page and vote. The choices are a second demolition derby, an IMP Autocross, or the Big Air Show.

The demolition derby would involve clearing out some of the Sunday classes and running them Wednesday night instead. The IMP Autocross consists of cars and pickups going up and down ramps and mounds. The Big Air Show is made up of ATVs and Quads racing up and down and around obstacles.

You have until March 31 to cast your vote. You may also mail in or drop off your choice to the Steele Country Free Fair Office.

Friday, March 17, it's the Steele County Free Fair Building Fund Benefit Dinner. Hours will be 4-7PM at the Owatonna HyVee. The menu features Baked Cod, Pasta Choice, Bay Scallops, Breaded Swai, Hushpuppies, Veggies, Mashed Potatoes and Cole Slaw for $9.99. Kids 10 and younger are $5.99. A&W Root Beer Floats will be available for $1. Take out will be available and money goes for general maintenance and upkeep of the buildings on the Steele County Free Fair grounds.
