Owatonna senior Sydney Schultz paced the Huskies to a 54-43 win at Rochester John Marshall with 25 points, which moves her to the edge of school history. Schultz reportedly has 1,488 points in her career, two shy of the school record of 1,490 held by Sarah Draayer. Schultz should move to the top of the all-time list early in Thursday's home game against Rochester Mayo.

The New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva boys' basketball team improved to 5-0 on the season with a 58-43 win over Triton in Dodge Center Tuesday night. The Panthers play at Waterville-Elysian-Morristown (2-4) Friday night. NRHEG coach Pat Churchill said on Saturday's coaches show that the Panthers haven't won at Waterville during his time as coach.
