Zac Brown Band have released a sentimental — and dramatic — video for their track "I'll Be Your Man (Song for a Daughter)."

The music video opens with Brown in the lead role, portraying a doting father to a young girl. This part shouldn't be too hard, considering he and his wife have four daughters of their own. Throughout the quasi-cinematic experience, Brown goes through a series of emotions as he watches his daughter grow up, and is eventually there to protect her when she needs it most.

“I’ll Be Your Man' is heavy for me,” Brown explains in a behind the song video he posted on ZBB’s YouTube channel. “Since the minute I knew I was gonna have a daughter, I’ve been preparing myself to have to let her go. There’s no greater honor than to be a father to a daughter and to know that love — to have unconditional love and to be able to be their man until they get older … to, essentially, always be their man.”

The conclusion of this music video will leave you on the edge of your seat. We won't give anything away, but we promise it's worth the eight-minute wait.

Diego Pernia directed the video for "I'll Be Your Man." He was worked with the group before, producing the video trilogy for "Remedy."

"I'll Be Your Man (Song for a Daughter)" is off ZBB's most recent album, Jekyll + Hyde, released in April 2015.
