Woofstock Comes to Owatonna

Peace, brothers and sisters. It's time for Woofstock. Bring along your four-legged friend to Lake Chase Dog Park and celebrate National Dog Day on Friday, August 26. Jake Jones will be performing a free concert from 5-7PM.

Besides music, there will be a bounce house and concessions will be available from Country Girl Cooking, Kona Ice and Ozzie's Cotton Candy. The Master's Bar and Grill will also be there grilling and serving up your favorite beverage.

Jones has become a popular local entertainer over the past year or so, with appearances at Brooktree, the Steele County Free Fair and the Minnesota State Fair. Jones' new album is also available at his website.

The 1.6 acre park is at 1915 State Ave. N.W. in Owatonna.

As of now, the weather looks to be a pleasant, cool day with a high around 70 degrees. Perfect weather for Rover to get out and about with his or her master.
