It took almost 40 years, but I've finally got some things to give away and I don't even know what some of them are.

On Friday, April 17, we'll be drawing for an ACM Awards Merchandise Package. When I saw the list of items in the haul, I realized there are a couple of words I had never heard of. One of the prizes is a 2015 ACM Awards Zinepak. Well, what's a Zinepak? It says it features songs from some of this year's top nominees. I suspected it must be some type of CD and I was right. I asked our Digital Managing Editor if a Zinepak was some type of CD. Her reply was, if you mean a Zeenpak, then the answer is yes. OK, I guessed what it was but I mispronounced it. One of the other items is an ACM Drink Koozie. So, what's a Koozie? I wrongly assume it's a strange name for a water bottle. It's actually a type of can cooler and it's shaped like a boot.

The picture here shows the Zinepak and the Koozie. Where did these names come from? I'd like to meet the person who came up with these names. I'd ask them if they knew what a Bartolo Colon is. If they answered that it's a type of intestinal disease or maybe some type of sweet-smelling perfume, I'd snicker and then tell them that a Bartolo Colon is an old fat guy that pitches for the New York Mets.

Either way, there are a number of items in the ACM package we're giving away and you can click here to check it out and register to win.
