Which Dog Would You Like?
For the longest time the Steele County Humane Society had just two or three adoptable dogs.That started to change several months ago when a number of dogs were transferred up from the flood ravaged areas of Texas. This was done to make room for pets who had lost track of their owners during the tragedy. The Humane Society web site now lists 10 dogs seeking homes. Let's take a look at a few of them. Remember if you have plans for buying a dog for a Christmas gift, it's best you let the recipient pick one out as they'll be the ones living with the dog.

Elsie is around 10 years old and weighs 55 pounds. She's a bulldog mix that is house trained. Her adoption fee is $100.
