We’re already into mid-September, and it’s been a pretty hot week with highs in the 80s. Which is funny, considering August temperatures were a lot colder than usual during the Minnesota State Fair. Our state can be funny like that.

Now, some weather experts are forecasting higher-than-usual temperatures throughout autumn this year. The National Weather Forecast is predicting Minnesota to be 50-60% warmer, according to this weather map. They aren’t saying exactly how hot it’ll get, but today’s high of 80 degrees might provide one clue. So much for jacket weather!

This is great news for those of us who aren’t quite ready to leave the summer behind. So get ready to enjoy a lot more outdoor activities while sipping down that Triple Espresso Double Shot Pumpkin Spiced Latte or whatever the kids are drinking these days. Do they make Cold Pumpkin Spice coffee? They might have to start doing that.
