The Waseca Sleigh and Cutter Festival is underway. There are scheduled events each weekend in February. Saturday, February 4, attractions include a Bean Bag Tournament at the Starfire Event Center, a Sno Secas Club Ride starting at 11AM from the Boat House. New this year is Tundra Golf on Clear Lake. This is a new event that combines kick ball with golf. Your goal is to kick the ball into a hole in the ice.

The Ice Sculpting will take place in front of the Public Safety Building February 8, 9 and 10.

The Sleigh and Cutter Dinner begins at 5PM at the Waseca VFW. The stuffed pork chop dinner is $14 and will be followed by Todd Utpadel and the Snowy River Band starting at 8:30PM. The Sleigh and Cutter Parade begins at noon on Saturday, February 11. The route begins at the fairgrounds and then through downtown Waseca.

The Kruger Memorial Vintage Snowmobile Race will be on Clear Lake on Saturday, February 25, with registration from 8-10AM.  New this year will be a huge fireworks display on Clear Lake at dusk in honor of Tracy Kruger and son Alec, founders of the race.
