Yes, it's hard to predict the weather that far ahead. However, the National Weather Service's Climate Prediction Center has announced the chance El Nino forms this summer at 65 percent and the odds go up to 80 percent during the late fall or early winter this year. While this would pose concerns for some parts of the world such as increased drought in Australia and increased hurricane activity in the eastern tropical Pacific, it also usually means warmer winter temperatures across the northern United States. After this past winter, I think a mild winter would be welcome..Anyone heard anything as to whether or not we're going to have a summer this year? Loren
