If we're being honest, I don't typically pay too much attention to the stamps I use when mailing something. As long as the postage is correct, I'm good to go and into the mail the item goes. But there is such a variety of stamps available, I've seen hearts for weddings, and snowflakes in the winter, and some people have entire collections of stamps. Well, stamp collectors and Halloween enthusiasts get ready, because the U.S. Postal Service is issuing a Halloween stamp!

This is the first time that the U.S. Postal Service has issued a Halloween stamp, and there are four variations available, all featuring carved pumpkins. The jack-o-lanterns are each different and the designs were carved and designed by Paul Montanari with direction by Derry Noyes, and they were photographed by Sally Anderson-Bruce. The stamps are forever stamps.
