United Way Important To Small Groups Too

Steele County United Way Executive Director Kim Schaufenbuel and Peng Olson of the campaign were guests on AM 1390's Talk of the Town. As of December 7, it's estimated the United Way is at around 77% of its goal of $725,000. This years campaign will help 24 local programs. While many are familiar with some of the larger entities receiving funds, the Steele County United Way is also vital to a number of smaller and perhaps lesser known non-profits that are vital to our community.
