The work continues on the bridge replacement on the south end of Owatonna on Highway 14. The Minnesota Department of Transportation reports there will be traffic stoppages from Wednesday night till Thursday morning. Bridge beams will be set on Highway 14 westbound and the beams will be delivered to the eastbound lanes and then set in place. This will take place between County Road 45 and I-35.

The Minnesota State Patrol will be stopping traffic for around 15 minutes while the work crews deliver and set the beams.Traffic will then be opened up till the arrival of the next beam. In all there will be 4 beams put into place.

Traffic stoppages will begin at 8PM June 13 and continue till around 2AM June 14.

Also on June 15, motorists on I-35 south of Owatonna will experience lane changes while crews pour the concrete bridge decks on the Steele County Road 18 bridge  which crosses over the interstate.
