Toys For Tots Looking For Shoppers

A reminder that the deadline to apply for Toys for Tots in order to get a Family to Family food card besides toys is this Wednesday, November 14. Applications after Wednesday will qualify for toys only.

Volunteer shoppers are needed for shopping for toys on Thanksgiving night, November 22. Shoppers will be given coupons and lists and then travel the aisles of Kohls, Wal Mart and Target filling their carts with toys. Volunteers are also needed to help disburse the toys on December 13-15 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Owatonna. Families will come on designated nights and times and shop for toys. Volunteers are needed to help restock the tables with toys after each shift.

Unwrapped toys are being accepted through December 11. More information may be found at the Toys for Tots web site.
