Tour Season Opens At Village Of Yesteryear

Regularly scheduled tours of the Village of Yesteryear in Owatonna begin Tuesday, May 1. Tours will be offered at 1:30PM each Tuesday through Sunday till September 30. You can also make an appointment by calling (507)-451-1420.

The Village consists of 19 historic buildings to check out. During this tour season work will continue in the Village with the replacements of the boardwalk circle. Each board will be removed and a new foundation along with newly engraved boards will be laid. The log cabins will be re roofed this season as well.

Tour rates for the Village of Yesteryear are $5 for adults and children ages 7-16 are $3. Group rates are available as well. Admission to the History Center and its exhibits is $5 for adults and children 7-16 $3. Of you can purchase admission to both for $8 for adults and $5 for children.
