Time For The Next MainStreet Retail Challenge

If you're a business owner or a hope to be business owner, it's time to start planning for Owatonna's MainStreet Retail Challenge. If you're thinking of opening a business in downtown Owatonna or maybe planning or thinking of expanding to include an Owatonna location for a business located elsewhere, this might be for you.

The winning proposal will receive an incentive package worth up to $25,000. The first step is to submit a business concept by August 31. Contact bill Owens at the Owatonna Business Development Center at (507)-451-0517. Those who qualify will then move onto the second round which entails a business plan. A business plan is one which gets down to the actual financial goals, expectations and expenses. Those that make it through round two then take part in the final pitch which includes a presentation to the judges.
