My goodness. When's the last time you've seen something go down in price? OK, gasoline but that fluctuates so much. This year's Thanksgiving meal is down to its lowest price since 2010.

The American Farm Bureau Federation says the average cost of a Thanksgiving meal for 10 is $48.90 which represents a 22 cent decrease from last year's feast.

The large turkey supply gets most of the credit with retail turkey selling at its lowest price since 2014, about $1.36 a pound. Other goodies are down in price this year too including milk, sweet potatoes, canned green peas and dinner-rolls. Checking in with higher prices this year are fresh cranberries, canned pumpkin pie mix and stuffing.

Whatever the reason, if it means a few more cents in your pocket, I'm for it. Eat up and enjoy.
