Silvan Durben was in for Talk of the Town at the KRFO AM studio to talk of the many events that will be taking place at the Owatonna Arts Center, 435 Dunnell Drive.

Just a reminder to use the front main entrance to the Arts Center. An elevator is close by that entrance. The back steps are under construction and should be finished in the spring.

Silvana Ravena will begin her exhibit of paintings on Sunday, October 4, and it will run through Friday, October 25. She appeared on a Minnesota program and there will be a DVD playing from that program. Ravena is from Sao Paulo, Brazil, and lives in Minneapolis.

Friends of the Arts luncheon will take place on Wednesday, October 14, featuring a meal made of organic food including pumpkin soup and a dessert. Louanne Kaupa will speak on wise eating. Tickets are $20 for Owatonna Art Center members and $25 for nonmembers and are available at Kottke's and the center. Tickets must be purchased by Friday, October 9.

On Sunday, October 11, there will be a piano concert featuring John McKay at 2PM.
