There will be several events this Saturday, May 14, to raise money for Suicide Awareness. Starting at 4PM and running until 8:30PM will be a silent auction at Reggie's Brewhouse in Owatonna. Items included will be Twins and Gopher items along with gift cards, certificates and Harley-Davidson items. This will coincide with a Beer Bash for $5 from 7-9PM.

Prior to this will be a motorcycle ride. It departs from Good Shepherd Church in Owatonna at 1PM and ends at 4PM at Reggie's. Registration for the ride begins at 11:30AM at the church. The cost is $20 per bike or car plus $5 per rider. There will also be skull caps for sale with the Lizzy's Light insignia. Elizabeth Tolzman was a suicide victim earlier this year.

Proceeds will fund a Suicide Awareness and Prevention rally in June. Some of the money will go to the Open Arms Yellow Ribbon campaign and the Tolzman family.

The group is also working with Project Semicolon. A semicolon is used by an author when they could end a sentence but decide instead to continue on. Do you see the correlation between that and life?
