It's the 13th annual STRIVE Wellness Run and Fitness Walk on Saturday, August 20, at Owatonna High School. This year's run is now a 5K run instead of a 4-mile run. The course is certified and chip-timed. The race will start on the Owatonna High School track and then proceed through residential neighborhoods and return to the track.

There will also be a Kids 440m/800m run, which will start at 8:15AM at the track. There is also a 2-mile fun walk

5K runners can preregister at the Owatonna Rotary Strive Run website.

Registration is $25 if done by August 17. Race day registration will be $30.

Proceeds will benefit the STRIVE program at OHS. STRIVE stands for Students Taking a Renewed Interest in the Value of Education. Each year about 20-25 OHS seniors who show great potential and promise are paired with an adult to offer support and mentorship.
