The Stix of Fury, based in Blooming Prairie, will host a fundraising pancake breakfast and silent auction on Sunday, February 26, from 9AM to noon. Pancakes, sausage, ham, eggs and muffins and beverage will be served for a donation at the Pizza Cellar in Blooming Prairie.

Money raised will go toward their transportation fund. The bus company that the group chartered with has dropped their charter service.

Founder Jacob Peterson and Kristi Jorgenson were guests on AM 1390's Talk of the Town. Peterson founded the group in 2009. In addition to a drum corps, the group has recently added a color guard.

The group has gone as far south as Decorah, Iowa, as far north as Lakeville, as far west as Fairmont and as far east as Wycoff. The group is booked for about 20 marching engagements per summer.

Those who would like to mail a tax-free donation to the group may send them to PO Box 723, Blooming Prairie, MN 55917.
