Habitat for Humanity of Steele-Waseca Area announces that they are now accepting prequalification forms for their habitat Homeownership Program. If you're in need of affordable housing and willing to partner to build your own home, this is something you might want to look into. Prequalification forms are available at the Habitat office at 108 W. Vine Street in Owatonna. They are due back in the office no later than February 21, or postmarked by February 17.

In 2017, the Habitat for Humanity of Steele-Waseca Area is launching a Faith Partnership and a Youth Partnership. On Friday, February 17, they will be offering a Do It Yourself Youth Night. Young folks are invited to the old Walmart Building on Hoffman Drive in Owatonna to build a "Take Your Boots Off Bench." Children 12 and younger need to be accompanied by an adult. Space is limited and you need to preregister. Call (507) 446-0112 to get signed up.
