Those who are in need of a home and would like to learn more about the Habitat for Humanity of Steele-Waseca Area are invited to several prequalification workshops. They will be starting to accept prequalification forms for their Habitat Homeownership Program starting January 23. There are a number of upcoming workshops where one can learn about eligibility requirements such as a need for housing, ability to pay and willingness to partner.

The workshops will be Tuesday, January 17, from 6-7:30PM at Grace Lutheran Church of Waseca and Thursday, January 19, from 6-7:30PM at Trinity Lutheran church of Owatonna. There will also be a pair of workshops on Saturday, January 21. One will be 9:30-11AM at the Owatonna Public Library and the other from 1-2:30PM at Grace Lutheran Church in Waseca.

Those who cannot make any of the informational sessions, may stop at the Habitat for Humanity office for a prequalification form. The address is 108 W. Vine St., Owatonna. These forms will be available starting January 23. The phone number is (507) 446-0112.
