The Steele County Blades junior hockey team will host a pair of games this weekend, Friday, Feb. 6 vs. Rochester and Sunday, Feb. 8 vs. Forest Lake.

The Blades will play five of their remaining seven games at the Four Seasons Centre in Owatonna. On Friday, Feb. 6, first-place Rochester rolls into town. The Ice Hawks have won all four head-to-head meetings against Steele County. Game time is 7 p.m. On Sunday, the Blades host Forest Lake at 3 p.m. The Blades are chasing the Lakers for the fourth seed and home ice advantage in the playoffs. Steele County trails Forest Lake by seven points in the standings but still has three games to go against them.


Owatonna's Erik Colstrup is back with the Blades after playing part of the winter with the OHS Huskies.

Nick Castellano is from Austin, Minn. The forward is in his first year of junior hockey after graduating in 2014.
