Steele County Transitional Housing will offer two opportunities with free meals to learn more about their mission. They will host a breakfast on Wednesday, November 16, at 7AM and the Owatonna Holiday Inn and a free lunch on Thursday, November 17, at noon. Graduates of the Transitional Housing program will provide personal testimonials at these free informative events.

On Saturday, November 19, at 7PM there will be a benefit concert at the Owatonna High School. Admission will be a donation. Inspirational and upbeat music will be the genre. Performers will include Mike and Tammy Ferch along with members from area groups such as The Gogs, Hot n Bothered, Bad Tangerines and Trinity Lutheran church.

Transitional Housing of Steele County is a local nonprofit that provides the first month's rent for people who are homeless. To be included in the program one must be either employed or attending school. Each month the renter's monthly rental obligation slowly escalates until they are paying their entire rent on their own.
