Steele County Toys for Tots Seeks Volunteers, Donations

The Steele County Toys for Tots could still use a few volunteers to help them shop for Christmas toys on Thanksgiving night. It should take about an hour or two. They could also use help with the set-up and distribution of the toys on December 14-17 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Owatonna. To volunteer or find out more, call Maryanne at (507) 363-6911.

Trinity Lutheran Church of Owatonna will be hosting a benefit concert for the Steele County Toys for Tots on Friday, December 9, at the church. Doors will open at 6PM with the concert starting at 6:30PM. A gift of a toy or cash for Toys for Tots is the requested admission.

There will be performances from the Bad Tangerines, Dani Erola, Greta Jacobson and Taylor Velzke duet, Jazz Palmer, the Trinity Lutheran Bell Choirs, the BELLievers and Angelus Bells and the OHS Carolers.

Childcare will be available in the Trinity nursery from 5:45-8:30PM.
