The Minnesota Department of Transportation will be holding several workshops in Southern Minnesota next month. The purpose is to help develop a plan for coordinated transit and human services to meet current and future needs of people with disabilities, older adults, people with low income and others.

The three workshops will focus on offering ideas on strategies and projects for improving the transportation needs for those who may need extra assistance. Examples of these peoples would include those with disabilities and elderly.

The public is invited to any of the three meetings.

They will be on Wednesday, February 8, from 3:30-6:30PM at Rochester City Hall in Conference Room 104.The second workshop will be Wednesday, February 15, from 3:30-6:30PM in the MnDOT Owatonna Office in Conference Room 2. The third workshop will be Wednesday, February 22, from 3:30-6:30PM in the Winona City Hall Council Chambers.
