SMART Bus Expands Into Waseca

SMART Bus service will be offered in Waseca starting Saturday, January 2. Route service with regular stops in the city will take place hourly between 7AM and 5PM. Countywide demand service will be offered as well during those same hours.

SMART Bus service will close at noon on December 24 and remain closed on Christmas Day. Service will resume on Saturday, December 26. Service will cease on New Year's Eve at 5PM and remain closed New Year's Day, with service starting back up on Saturday, January 2.

Starting in January there will be a few changes in the route stops in Owatonna. Stops at Aldi's, Fareway Foods and Community Ed will end. Stops at The Brooks and the Cedar Dale South Apartments will be added. Stops at Aldi's, Fareway Foods and Community Ed will still be available on a demand system.
