Section Boys Basketball Playoffs Underway

The Section 1A West boys basketball playoffs kicked off last night as No. 9 Leroy-Ostrander, defeated No. 8 Glenville-Emmons 72-63 and Southland defeated MASD 72-52. Games coming up tomorrow night: No. 1 Goodhue hosts No. 9 Leroy-Ostrander, No. 4 Randolph hosts No. 5 Grand Meadow, No. 3 Lyle-Pacelli hosts Bethlehem Academy -- that game will be on at KDHL and kdhlradio.com starting at 6:45 p.m. -- and No. 2 Blooming Prairie hosts No. 7 Southland. Winners will play Feb. 24 at Mayo Auditorium in Rochester.

The Cardinals, at 9-16, will have their hands full with Lyle at 16-7. But you never know what can happen in the playoffs.
