Section 1A Girls Basketball Playoffs Start Tonight

The Bethlehem Academy Cardinals girls basketball squad opens up Section 1A West play as they face Lyle/Pacelli in Lyle on Thursday night. Coverage will start about 6:45PM on Power96 (95.9FM) and power96radio.com.

Lyle/Pacelli is 23-3 and the Cardinals are 12-14, so they will need to play great defense and hopefully have some great shooting to have a chance to advance to the next round. Other games in the section tonight: Goodhue hosts LeRoy-Ostrander at Goodhue, Grand Meadow hosts Randolph, and Blooming Prairie hosts Southland.. All games are at 7PM.

The winner of the BA vs. Lyle/Pacelli match-up will face the Blooming Prairie/Southland winner on Monday night at 7:30PM at the Mayo Auditorium.

In 1A East play, Rushford-Petersen hosts Schaffer Academy, Spring-Grove hosts Mabel Canton, Kingsland Hosts Wabasha-Kellogg and Fillmore-Central hosts Houston.

The state high school girls tournament is March 15-19 at Williams Arena and the Target Center.
