Sam Hunt brought an entire crowd to their feet and gave them something to remember at the iHeartRadio Country Festival this year with his performance of the summer 2014 smash, "Leave the Night On."

The way Hunt danced, jumped and strutted across the stage while singing the song that put him on the map cast an obvious energetic spell on the audience, even enticing a middle-aged man to bounce to the beat and mouth along with the words. Hunt strolled among the crowd while performing the tune, only pausing to twirl an adoring fan and high-five those who have supported him over the past year.

Hunt knew he had to bring the energy if we wanted to leave an impression among the all-star line up at the festival, which included Tim McGraw, Brad Paisley, Dierks Bentley and many more. The second annual event took place at the Frank Erwin Center in Austin, Texas on May 2, and aired on NBC Wednesday night (May 27).

"Leave the Night On" was Hunt's lead single off his 2014 debut album, Montevallo. The track reached No. 1 on both the Billboard and MediaBase charts in November, right around the same time it was certified Platinum for selling a million units.

If you didn't get a chance to catch Hunt live at the iHeartRadio Country Festival, don't worry. You have plenty of chances to see him as he opens for Lady Antebellum alongside Hunter Hayes on the current Wheels Up tour, or when he plays at LP Field in Nashville during CMA Music Festival this June.
