Ruth's House of Hope in Faribault is having their annual "The Hearts Gala" fundraiser on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at the Faribault American Legion.  Ruth Hickey, one of the founders of the provider of transitional housing for women and children will give us details on today's KDHL AM Minnesota program at 9:30 a.m.

"Ruth's House provides transitional housing in a safe, supportive and healing environment to help women and families on their way to a new beginning."  That's what it says on their website.  Domestic violence, poverty, addiction, health challenges or other issues can lead to homelessness or feeling unsafe in one's own home.  Whatever the cause, Ruth's House says they provide transitional shelter and support for women and children in crisis.

Social Hour and Bidding at 5:30 p.m.  Dinner and Program at 7:00 p.m.

The fundraiser features a Dessert Auction, Wine Wall and Silent and Live Auctions.

Tickets are $60 per person.

Live Auction items include a Las Vegas package, Day at the State Capitol, Dinner for Ten at Your Home, Manicures and Pedicures.

Silent Auction items include Guthrie Theatre Tickets, North Shore Scenic Railroad Package, Grand Slam Laser Tag Packages, Fit for Life Membership and much more.
