Plenty To Do This Weekend Including The River Bend Nature Center

Depending on the weather Saturday you have plenty of local options to enjoy including at the River Bend Nature Center.

Join River Bend Nature Center for Bagels & Birds on Saturday, December 1st, from 9:30-10:30AM. Enjoy bagels and coffee or tea while watching birds through our Windows on the Wild, a large birdfeeder area. Bagels, cream cheese, and peanut butter provided by the Inn at Shattuck. This program is free to attend, but donations are appreciated. No pre-registration is required.

River Bend is also going to be hosting an Upcycling: T-shirt Bags event on Saturday, December 1st, from 10am-2pm. You can show the world how eco-friendly you really are. Drop-in to make and decorate a bag from an old t-shirt. This program is open to all ages. There is a cost to participate. You'll have to pay $5 per person, or $2 for members of the River bend Nature Center. The cost includes materials to be used. No pre-registration required.

You can use that newly created bag, or your kids can for the parade later that night downtown for the second annual Winterfest.
