Pickleball

Vicki Vannatta and Connie Markell stopped by AM 1390 for our Talk of the Town to explain Pickleball. It's a sports that's really caught on in the Owatonna area. It's kind of a cross between tennis, table tennis and such and played with a paddle and whiffle ball. Interested parties may stop out at the Christian Family Church of Owatonna between 9 and noon on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays to learn more. They offer introductory instruction between 11 and noon on Mondays and Tuesdays.

The second annual Pickleball tourney is slated for November 14th and 15th at the Owatonna Jr High. Connie can fill you in on tournament details at 456-2119.
