Contemporary Christian recording artist Peder Eide and his band will put on a performance at Trinity Lutheran Church of Owatonna on Friday, December 4, at 7PM.

The event is part of the Owatonna Hometown Holidays 2015 celebration. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for youth ages 18 and younger. Go to the Owatonna Chamber of Commerce and Tourism's calendar of events for activities of the holiday season. Christmas in the Village is Friday and Saturday. The Little Theatre of Owatonna opens its holiday production A Christmas Carol Friday, December 4. The Steele County History Center hosts a soup and chili supper Friday from 4:30-6:30PM.

Shop Owatonna businesses for special holiday values throughout the weekend. Breakfast with Santa at the Owatonna VFW is Saturday morning. Shop with Santa to support Steele County 4-H is also Saturday morning. The Sons of Norway meatball supper is Saturday from 5-7PM at the history center.

The Historic Holiday house tour is Sunday, December 6, from noon to 5PM. Tickets are available at Kottke's, Tri-M Graphics and from the Steele County Historical Society. The Owatonna Art Center opens its holiday display "The Playfulness of Snow" Sunday. The Canadian Pacific Railroad Holiday Train comes to Owatonna on Sunday afternoon around 4PM. Daybreak Community Church / Homestead Hospice House hosts the star of hope lighting ceremony at 5PM.
