Panthers open with win

The N.R.H.E.G. boys basketball team began play in the Bethany Lutheran Tournament with an 80-51 victory over St. Clair on Friday. Three Panthers reached double figures.

NRHEG senior Kevin Kalis turned in a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds. Senior Spencer Tollefson poured in 20 points. Sophomore Chad Agrimson chipped in 14. The Panthers will play St. Croix Lutheran at 6:30 Saturday. The Crusaders topped NRHEG in last year's tournament.
