Owatonna Park and Rec presents their sixth annual Weekend Out. It starts off Friday, July 15, with a Family Camp Out in Brown Park. Camping begins at 5PM and you need to contact Park and Rec to preregister. They ask that you bring tents only, no campers. There will be a bounce house, games, smores, bonfires and more. The movie The Good Dinosaur will be shown at dusk. Concessions will be available and a continental breakfast will be offered starting at 7AM Saturday.

Saturday's activities include free Kaplan Woods Mountain Bike Trail Riding. There will be several Fat Tire Bikes on hand that you can check out and try out. From 1-3PM it will be the Morehouse bike/Skate Park Event. Folks of all ages are invited to bring their bikes and skates. The day concludes with a Family Concert in Central Park starting at 6:30PM. Karl B and the Soul Surgeons will provide the music. Frozen Custard will be available for sale.
