Owatonna Sports: Girls Tennis Wins Playoff Opener, Volleyball and Soccer Win Too

The Section 1AA girls tennis tournament opened with Owatonna sweeping Austin 7-0. The Huskies will host Farmington on Thursday at 4PM in the quarterfinals.

The Huskies' volleyball team swept Faribault 3-0 by scores of 25-16, 25-15, 25-15. Owatonna (11-7, 6-2 in the Big Nine) plays at Northfield on Thursday with coverage on KRFO AM 1390 and with the RadioPup app.

OHS boys' soccer blanked Red Wing 7-0. The Huskies close the regular season Thursday versus Austin at the Lincoln Soccer Complex.

Owatonna girls' soccer whipped Red Wing 7-1 and will wrap up the season at Austin on Thursday.

The Huskies' B-squad football team dominated New Prague 59-30 Tuesday to improve to 7-0.
