The Owatonna High School softball team will host a Kids' Night event at their game against Faribault on Thursday at Morehouse Park. Junior varsity plays at 5PM with the varsity at 7PM.

The Huskies (6-5) won 9-6 at Faribault (4-5) on April 14, coming from behind for the victory. Thursday's game will be broadcast on Power 96 radio, with Roy Koenig on the play-by-play. The team invites youth softball players to the game for prize drawings, player autographs and other in-game activities.

Owatonna baseball (7-2) is also seeking a season sweep of the Falcons (0-12) when the teams play Thursday at Bell Field in Faribault. The game will be carried on KRFO AM 1390 with Brad Fischer on the call. The Huskies won 10-0 on April 14.

Other OHS sports on the May 5 schedule include a Big Nine Conference girls lacrosse showdown as the Huskies host Mayo at 7PM. The OHS boys lacrosse squad goes to Rochester Mayo for a 7:30PM game. Huskies boys golf hosts Faribault at 3PM at Owatonna Country Club in a make up of last week's rain out. The girls golfers are at the Northfield Invitational at 2PM. OHS boys tennis plays at Austin at 4:30PM.

KRFO-area baseball includes Medford at Blooming Prairie, WEM at NRHEG and Stewartville at Triton. Softball on Thursday features Kenyon-Wanamingo at Blooming Prairie, WEM at NRHEG, Lyle-Pacelli at Medford and Triton at Stewartville.

NRHEG and Medford track will be at Byron. NRHEG girls golf hosts a conference meet, as does the Triton girls team.
