Owatonna's opponents didn't score Thursday in three separate varsity events. The Huskies' girls soccer team blanked Rochester Century 1-0 on a nifty second half goal by Syd Kretlow according to @Purple_Stick.

The OHS boys soccer club ended a three-game losing skid with a 1-0 win at Rochester Century. The only goal came by Zach Kraus on a penalty kick, as reported by the Post Bulletin. Tyler Akemann made two saves to get the shutout.

Owatonna soccer plays a varsity double header at Lakeville South Saturday. The girls play at 11AM, with the boys to follow at 1PM.

OHS girls tennis got back into the win column with a 7-0 sweep at Red Wing Thursday afternoon. Owatonna improves to 12-1 overall and 8-1 in the Big Nine, rebounding from Tuesday's loss to Rochester Mayo. OHS plays at the eight-team Rochester John Marshall tournament Saturday.

The Owatonna girls swimmers lost at Rochester JM 90.5-84.5, but Allison An won the diving portion of the meet, as indicated by @OHSSwimandDive0. The Huskies go to the Mankato East meet Saturday.

Owatonna's ninth grad football team won their third straight game to start the season, 30-20 over Austin.
