The Owatonna Area Shrine Club will hold their Screening Clinic for children on Saturday, April 9, at the Owatonna Public Library from 9:30AM to noon. This will take place in the Gainey Room on the third floor. This clinic is for children with bone, muscle, joint problems or sports injuries. Some of the afflictions may include bowed legs, limb deficiency, scoliosis and club feet, among others.

The screening takes about 10 minutes. To schedule an appointment, call Dick Heide at (507) 456-2069.

The Owatonna Area Shriners have been holding these screenings for the past 19 years. In that time they've helped about 160 area children.

Shriner Dick Heide was a guest on AM 1390's Talk of the Town.
