A man on the run from police, and believed to be involved in home invasion robberies in Owatonna, was arrested Friday afternoon in Minneapolis. Twenty-one-year-old Martin Tyler Lampkin was taken into custody after a combined effort between the Owatonna Police Department, Northfield Police Department, South Central Drug Investigative Unit, Minneapolis Police Department and the FBI.

Lampkin first went on the run from Owatonna Police on Monday, October 29 as officers were approaching a residence on North Grove in Owatonna to serve a warrant. A foot chase ensued and he escaped capture. He was believed to be armed and dangerous and the city issued an alert to residents about the threat.

Lampkin is wanted on warrants including 1st Degree Burglary from his involvement in home invasion robberies in Owatonna in May.
