Owatonna Foundation Week

Owatonna Foundation is a bit earlier this year, running October 1-7. The Legacy Luncheon will be Wednesday and the Professionals Breakfast will be Thursday.

The public is invited to the Wine and Beer tasting on Thursday, October 5 at the Owatonna Holiday Inn. Over 100 beverages to sample between 6:30-9PM. Tickets are $15 in advance at the Foundation Office, Kottke Jewelers or Cash Wise Liquor. There will also be tickets available at the door. The evening also includes a mini-auction which will include a couple of Winery Road trips and a dinner for 8 prepared by Betsy Lindgren and Laura Resler.

T-shirts will tossed to the crowd at half time of the OHS football game on Friday night.

Saturday the public is invited to stop at the Owatonna Foundation Office on Saturday, October 7 from 8-12PM. Enjoy free refreshments and this will be the only time that you can turn in your Mystery Photo contest entry sheet. Go to the Owatonna Foundation web site to get your form. You need to identify 8 of the 16 projects around town that were funded with help from the Owatonna Foundation. The first 50 entries get a free Culver's Meal Deal Basket. There are over $2,000 in prizes to win.

The Foundation also announces a recent grant to the Steele County Food Shelf and Steele County Clothesline. The funds will enable them to take down the wall between the two entities enabling the construction of a joint registration desk.
